What is 360° Feedback?
360 Degree Feedback is a system in which employees receive open, anonymous feedback from the people who work around them. This typically includes the employee's manager, peers, direct reports and in some cases external people as well.
A mixture of people will fill out an anonymous or explicit online feedback form that comes with questions covering a broad range of workplace competencies and personal development topics. The feedback forms include questions that are measured on a rating scale and also ask raters to provide written comments.

The Importance of Goal Setting
For companies, goal setting is absolutely essential to motivating employees and creating an environment where they can win, and feel like winners.
The 10/90 Rule: The first 10% of the time that you spend developing absolute clarity about what is to be done will save you 90% of the time once you begin. It can also save you 90% of the mistakes, the costs, and the time of other people involved.
How It Works
Employee Goal Setting
Employees can set self goals for a cycle, then send the goals to their manager. The manager can make changes when necessary and send back to the employee. The conversation continues till the manager and employee make an agreed decision on which goals to achieve for that particular cycle.
Manager Approval
The manager approves the goal when they find it aligned with organizational objectives. This collaborative process ensures buy-in from both parties and creates clear accountability.
Performance Appraisal
At the end of the cycle, employees perform self-appraisal against their goals. Managers review and provide their assessment, creating a comprehensive view of performance.

What are KRAs?
KRA expands to Key Responsibility Areas, also known as KPA (Key Performance Areas), which essentially means these are the responsibilities of individuals. These terms KPA and KRA can be used interchangeably.
KRA or KPA can be thought of as objectives or goals by adding target dates or making them very specific. In practice, these are derived directly from the job description of the role, or in the absence of the 'job description', these KRAs can be used for describing the job, roles and responsibilities.
KRA + KPI Framework
KRA is used in most places given its simplicity, however it loses its importance in the absence of associated KPI. KPI normally stands for Key Performance Indicators, which can be used in combination with KRA.
Ideally, each KRA can have 1 or more KPI to ensure that individual employees understand when a KRA is deemed to be accomplished.
Job Description Based
KRAs are derived directly from job descriptions, providing clear alignment between role requirements and performance expectations. They define what employees are responsible for in their positions.
Measurable Outcomes
Each KRA is linked to specific KPIs that provide measurable indicators of success. This combination ensures employees know exactly what "good" looks like in their role.
